Upper First

Doktor Åsa

/ is a TV show broadcasting at swedish television.  The show is focusing on different themes and explains how the human body works and how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. We were asked to produce a title sequence and a graphic package such as bumpers and end titles. Creative director Anna Källsén gave us an open brief and wanted us to create a title sequence in a fun and good looking way. The storytelling should be fast and contain a number of  "inside body" scenes.

Inspiration

/ Stylewise we wanted the film to be a bit scary, suggestive and with a”Alice in Wonderland”-twist. The reason behind this was to appeal to a younger audience and make the character Doktor Åsa somewhat crazy with unconventional methods.

Character design

/ We really loved the idea of craziness and quickly started focusing on look developement of the characters. Above you can compare the first sketches and the final design.
